A New Approach to Passing Your INBDE Exam

Guarantee to Pass INBDE

INBDE Tutors

Personalized INBDE Tutoring to Help You Pass with Confidence

The Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) is a critical step toward earning your dental license in the United States. Developed by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE), the INBDE replaces the former NBDE Part I and II exams with a single, comprehensive test that evaluates both your biomedical science knowledge and your clinical reasoning.

At INBDE Tutors, we specialize in one-on-one, personalized online tutoring designed specifically for the INBDE. Our mission is simple: help you understand the material, master test-taking strategies, and pass the INBDE with confidence—the first time.

Whether you're a recent dental graduate, an international dentist navigating licensure requirements, or a repeat test-taker looking for a better outcome, our expert tutors are here to guide you every step of the way.

Why the INBDE Is Different—and Demanding

Unlike many standardized tests, the INBDE isn’t about memorizing isolated facts. Instead, it challenges you to apply biomedical science to real-world clinical scenarios. The exam is spread over two days, includes 500+ questions, and covers topics such as:

  • Biomedical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry)

  • Clinical Dental Sciences (Operative Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, etc.)

  • Dental Public Health and Patient Management

  • Ethics, Communication, and Clinical Decision-Making

It’s a problem-solving exam, not just a recall test.

To succeed, you’ll need more than just content review. You’ll need to understand how to connect biomedical principles to patient care decisions, manage your time under pressure, and analyze complex case scenarios. That’s where we come in.

What Sets INBDE Tutors Apart?

There are many test prep companies and tutoring platforms out there, but INBDE Tutors is different. We focus exclusively on the INBDE exam and tailor every session to your unique background, learning style, and goals.

Personalized Study Plans

Every student starts with a diagnostic session to assess current knowledge and identify weak areas. Based on this, we build a custom study plan that includes content review, practice questions, case-based learning, and exam strategy—all aligned with your timeline.

INBDE One-on-One Expert Tutoring

Our tutors aren’t generalists. They’re INBDE specialists with backgrounds in dental education and clinical practice. You’ll receive dedicated attention, tailored explanations, and actionable strategies to help you understand the material and build confidence.

INBDE Practice Questions Aligned to the Real Exam

We provide high-quality, case-based practice questions that simulate the types of scenarios you’ll face on the actual test. Our tutors walk through these questions with you to build analytical thinking, not just rote memorization.

Flexible Scheduling

Busy with work, school, or clinicals? No problem. We offer flexible online scheduling to fit your life—whether that means early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Ongoing Feedback and Support

Your tutor doesn’t just show up for a session and leave. We track your progress, adjust your study plan as needed, and check in regularly to make sure you're on pace and feeling supported.

What Students Say About INBDE Tutors

“I struggled with clinical reasoning and kept failing practice tests. INBDE Tutors changed everything. My tutor broke down each topic in a way I could actually understand. We worked on real case scenarios and even did time management drills. I passed the INBDE with a solid score, and I owe it to this program!”
— Sandra K., DDS Grad from Mexico

“I tried studying alone for months with YouTube and some question banks, but it wasn't working. The one-on-one support made a huge difference. My tutor focused on my weaknesses and held me accountable. INBDE Tutors is worth every dollar.”
— Daniel R., NYU Dental Student

These are just a few of the success stories from students we’ve helped pass the INBDE and move forward with their dental careers.

INBDE FAQs (Frequently Asked by Students)

What is the INBDE?

The Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) is a standardized licensing exam administered by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations (JCNDE). It assesses a dental student’s or graduate’s ability to apply biomedical, clinical, and behavioral science knowledge in patient-centered scenarios. The INBDE has replaced the previous NBDE Part I and Part II exams with a single, integrated assessment. Official website: https://jcnde.ada.org/en/inbde

How long should I study for the INBDE?

Most students spend between 8 to 12 weeks preparing for the INBDE, depending on their background and familiarity with the material. A structured plan, frequent review, and practice with case-based questions are key to success.

Is one-on-one tutoring really worth it?

Yes. One-on-one tutoring provides personalized guidance, which helps you target your weaknesses, stay accountable, and study more efficiently. Many students tell us they see faster results and feel more confident with individualized support compared to studying alone or in group settings.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, if you fail, you get free tutoring. We are the only tutoring program to provide such guarantee. Our students often report significant improvements in understanding, confidence, and practice scores.

What score do I need to pass the INBDE?

The INBDE is scored on a pass/fail basis. A passing result means you have demonstrated an acceptable level of competency across the integrated content areas.

How is the INBDE scored?

The INBDE is computer-based and includes a combination of standalone and case-based questions. Responses are evaluated for correctness and consistency across different areas. The exam is graded holistically, and you will receive only a pass or fail result, with numeric scores given if you fail.

What happens if I fail the INBDE?

If you do not pass the INBDE, you can retake it. There is a mandatory waiting period of at least 60 days between unsuccessful attempts. You must pass the INBDE within five years of your first attempt or within five attempts, whichever comes first. If either of these limits are reached, you can retake the exam once every 12 months after your most recent attempt. Failing the INBDE may delay your dental licensure. It is highly recommended that you review your performance report to identify weak areas, seek formal remediation, and develop a strong study strategy before attempting the exam again.

Note: Always refer to the official JCNDE website for the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the INBDE.
